Don’t Let the Machine Train You
You’re not here to mimic prompts. You’re here to lead them.

If you’re not careful, the machine won’t just help you think, it’ll overwrite how you do it.
🧠 ONE Smart Idea
AI is supposed to enhance your mind.
But let’s be honest…
If you’re constantly prompting, copying, and pasting…
You’re not leading the machine.
You’re letting it train you.
Because every time you follow a generic flow or fill-in-the-blank prompt,
you’re not just saving time.
You’re retraining your voice.

📖 Story Spark
A founder I spoke to said:
“I feel like my content sounds more like ChatGPT than me lately.”
He didn’t realize how much his thinking had shifted.
Less curiosity.
More conformity.
His prompts were fast, sure. But his ideas?
Watered down. Predictable.
We reversed the flow.
He started prompting from his perspective first.
He led with principle, then used AI as a tool, not a replacement.
The result?
His newsletter started sounding like a strategist again.
His audience noticed. His authority returned.

⚙️ Tactical Application: The Prompt Reversal Method
Here’s how you can flip the prompt and keep your mental sovereignty intact.
1. Start with a founder filter
Before you prompt, answer this:
“What do I already believe about this topic?”
Write 2–3 principles. Use them to train the model, or frame your thoughts.
2. Use reflection-style prompting
Instead of asking “What should I say about X?”
Ask:
“What assumptions do most people make about X, and where do I disagree?”
“How would I explain X to a beginner using my tone + values?”
This forces your mind to lead, not follow.
3. Close with calibration
Paste the draft into your Brand Filter prompt:
“Does this sound like someone who believes in [insert principle]?
If not, revise for tone + clarity.”
You’re not just prompting for output.
You’re prompting to protect your edge.

🧭 Intelligent Elevation
Tools are neutral.
But in the wrong hands, or without intention… they reshape your voice until you start sounding like everyone else.
This week isn’t about avoiding AI.
It’s about installing founder-first filters before you feed the machine.
Because clarity isn’t something you prompt for.
It’s something you bring to the prompt.

💬 Closing Insight
“If you don't shape your tools, your tools will shape you.”
Use AI.
Just don’t let it use you.
