Values aren’t just words on the wall. They’re behavioral constraints.

They shape the choices your company makes in moments that matter—how a deal gets handled, how a customer is treated, how a launch is paced.

What makes them powerful isn’t just having them—it’s embedding them into how the business runs.

When your values are part of your SOPs, hiring criteria, AI prompts, and decision logic…

1. Hiring Filters
Create a 3-question values screen for every new role.
Example:

"What would you do if speed and integrity pulled in opposite directions?"

2. SOP Embeds
Add value-aligned prompts at the top of internal docs.
Example:

“This process must favor simplicity over speed. Keep that in mind as you edit.”

3. Prompt Engineering
Train your AI tools to act in accordance with your values.
Example:

“Write this outreach message in a tone that respects client time and cuts fluff.”

4. Decision Debriefs
After major decisions, ask:

“Which values were honored—and which were missed?”
This creates a feedback loop that strengthens your OS.

Bonus move: name your values as verbs
(“Question clearly.” “Deliver early.” “Protect the signal.”)

They’ll move faster when they feel active.
