Turn Attention Into Sales
If your audience knows who you are but still isn’t buying, the missing piece may not be more visibility. It may be the system that turns attention into trust, trust into offers, and offers into clients. Get the free video and blueprint here.

Today's Perspective Shift

From: Stack more tools to get more leverage
To: Collapse more steps to get more output with fewer moves

Theme for the Quarter: Operational Leverage With AI
Theme for the Week: Q2 Simplify Week

So far this week, we've unpacked why every extra step in your workflow is a permanent tax on your time, run your workflows through the 7-Step X-Ray to see exactly where the drag lives, and used the Subtraction Pass to kill the dead steps that were never pulling their weight.

In Today's Episode:

  • Why adding tools adds seams - not speed

  • The loop insight from the creator of Claude Code

  • The 4-step Collapse Test for any weekly workflow

  • How the loop era kills the collector advantage

Collapse, Don't Add: Turn 5 Steps Into 1 AI Move

A stack isn't leverage. It's surface area. And every inch goes stale on the next model update.

The smartest operators aren't stacking tools anymore. They're collapsing them.

💡 ONE Smart Idea

You don't have an AI problem.

You have a step problem.

Every new tool you add is a new seam.

And every seam breaks on the next model update.

The next tier of leverage isn't a better prompt.

It's letting AI run the loop you used to babysit.

📖 Story Spark

Picture a stage at Meta's @Scale conference.

The creator of Claude Code is up front. Boris Cherny. The crowd is full of operators who live and breathe AI.

And the very first question from the audience wasn't about code.

It wasn't about prompts. It wasn't about which model to use.

It was about loops.

His answer stopped the room. He said that "loops are just as important and as big a step" as the jump from writing source code to running agents.

Read that again. The man who built one of the most powerful AI coding tools on earth thinks the real unlock isn't the agent.

It's the loop the agent runs.

That's the live signal. The sharpest people in the room have stopped asking "what tool do I add?"

They're asking "what loop can I collapse this into?"

You should be asking the same thing.

⚙️ Tactical Application: The Collapse Test

Here's how I take a five-step workflow and squeeze it into one self-running move.

Grab one workflow you run every week. The kind with handoffs. Tool, then copy, then paste, then check, then send.

Now run it through four questions.

1. List the steps out loud

Write every step on one line each. Most operators discover they have eight steps, not five. You can't collapse what you can't see.

2. Mark the babysitting

Circle every step where you're just moving data from one box to another. Copy here. Paste there. Reformat. Those aren't your judgment. Those are loop fuel.

3. Find the one judgment call

In most workflows, exactly one step needs your brain. The rest is orchestration. Your job is to keep that one step and hand the orchestration to a loop.

4. Write the loop, not the prompt

Stop writing a prompt that does one thing. Write an instruction that says "keep going until done." Give the AI the goal, the inputs, and the finish line. Then let it run the cycle you used to run by hand.

This is exactly what big players are doing.

McKinsey consultants are now using AI to end their dependence on PowerPoint, collapsing a whole workflow step out of existence.

A hospital in Norway used AI surgery planning to unlock capacity without adding staff. They didn't add inputs. They collapsed the interdependent mess into one orchestrated system, because the tangle of moving parts was "beyond what traditional planning tools were built for."

Same move. Less surface area. More output.

Most experts try to "attract" clients with more content and more DMs, then wonder why the pipeline still feels like a coin flip every month. There's a calmer way to do this, and it runs on a system instead of your energy. I put the whole thing in a short free video.

Watch it free and you'll see the exact 3-step asset that turns attention into booked clients on repeat, without ads, without DMs, and without another discovery call that wears you out. You'll also get the "Attention Into Sales" Blueprint sent to your inbox the moment you opt in.

🧭 Intelligent Elevation

Here's the paradigm shift hiding inside all this.

For two years, the AI game rewarded collectors. More prompts. More tools. More subscriptions. The person with the biggest stack felt the most advanced.

But a stack isn't leverage. A stack is surface area. And every inch of surface area is something that goes stale when the next model drops.

The loop era flips this. The most leveraged operator isn't the one with the most tools. It's the one whose workflow takes the fewest moves to produce tangible output.

That's the real measure now. Not "how sophisticated is my setup?"

It's "how few moves does this take?"

SharkNinja's CEO calls AI "the great equalizer." He's right, but not in the way people think. It doesn't equalize by giving everyone more tools. It equalizes because the operator who collapses five steps into one will out-ship the operator running ten tools by hand. Every time.

The thinker who wins here isn't the one chasing the front edge. It's the one quietly removing steps while everyone else adds them.

Collapse is compounding. Every step you remove is a step that never breaks, never needs maintaining, never evaporates with the next update.

💬 Closing Insight

Stop measuring your AI setup by how many steps it has.

Measure it by how few moves it takes to get something real.

This week, take one workflow and run the Collapse Test on it. Find the one judgment step. Hand the rest to a loop. Then watch how much lighter your week gets.

Adding is easy. Anyone can bolt on another tool. Collapsing takes clarity, because you have to understand the work well enough to remove the parts that don't need you.

That's the operator's edge. Not the biggest stack. The fewest moves.

"Don't add another step. Collapse five into one."

Save this one and run the Collapse Test before your next workday 💾
